Syed Minhaj Ahmed, Founder & CEO of Empower Edge Limited is a seasoned and result-oriented business leader with over 25 years of diversified experience across Banking, Financial Institutions, Textiles, and Information Technology. Known for his strategic foresight and operational excellence, he has held prominent CXO positions—served as Managing Director & CEO at Uttara Finance and CVC Finance, and previously as COO at Alliance Finance.

He began his career with multinational bank named ANZ Grindlays Bank where he developed deep expertise in corporate banking, credit structuring, and treasury operations. He later worked in large corporates, including Beximco Group (Textile Division). Mr. Ahmed held leadership roles with Standard Chartered Bank and a number of prominent joint-venture financial institutions.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Ahmed has worked with multinational banks like Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank, and held key strategic and operational leadership roles at reputed financial institutions and Large Corporates such as Beximco Textiles Limited. His core strengths lie in Corporate Finance, Project Financing, Syndication, Treasury Management, Strategic Planning, and Business Development.

With over 12 years at MANCOM level, Mr. Ahmed has actively shaped organizational strategy, strengthened regulatory frameworks, and led financial innovation. He is well-regarded for his stakeholder engagement, ability to manage regulatory relationships, and his strategic oversight of complex financial operations.

As a senior executive and board director, he has led organizational transformations, introduced new business lines, built and nurtured stakeholder alliances, and enhanced governance frameworks. His leadership style combines vision with pragmatism, guiding organizations through regulatory challenges and evolving market dynamics with resilience.
